all the girls i've dated were crazy about all that "girly" stuff: brand name flashy clothes, accesories, etc...

drove me crazy - don't see point of buying unpractical things. My last girlfriend bought a dress for $400 just to wear it once at some banquet.

I can't understand it too - pay hundreds of dollars for clothes you could buy much cheaper (and looking as good).



(maybe, it is "russian training", but I always tell my husnabd how they, americans, are wasteful - he laughs listening to me telling about all "second uses" we tink for plastic bags, old pantyhose, clothes, etc.)

And the irony is that I can afford to buy $400 shoes or dress once in a while...but what for?

you know who else I can't understand to save my life: those who almost worship celebrities. Those people either need a better hobbie or just get shot. What a waste of oxygen

Yeah, I can understand adoration, admiration, but not worshiping...Celebrities, are people just like us, and they often complain that they can't have any private life, all those paparazzi following every step, etc.
