Ездили вчера в Санта Клариту, вишни считать (работа такая :)). А вишни здесь вот такие:







Довольно крупные, и на вкус кисло-сладкие, плохо только то что косточки размером чуть меньше самой вишни. Правда койоты эти вишни любят (судя по обилию помёта с косточками :-D)

patrick313 Because the local Department of Fish and Game suddnely decided that the property owner cannot simply grade them over, but needs to mitigate. Since before getting all grading permits the property owner needs to get "OK" from Department of Fish and Game he has to comply with their mitigation requirements, which means he will need to find vacant land with these cherries and buy 3 cherry trees for each one he removes... So right now he will be looking for close to 4000 trees...(see what I mean when I said "strict environemtal laws"??)

Потамчик У наших властей к wetlands тоже отношение трепетное - "no net loss" все такое...

А вишни никто не сажал, они дикие, сами по себе растут.
