Нет, ну вот чем люди думают...Если у нас перед домом на самом видном месте стоит рекламный щит озеленительной фирмы, которая занимается озеленением нашего дома и постройкой бассейна и прочих радостей жизни - почему почти каждый день под дверю находим кучи визитных карточек от других озеленительных фирм (это что, в случае если нам не понравится "наша" фирма?) и всяких других предложений...У меня уже появилась идея поставить у двери корзину для мусора с написью "Все предложения - сюда"

That's pretty common...like in any business there is fierce competition, and the pile of business cards on your door step is the way to show it

Also, doesn't hurt to keep your current company of their toes...LOL

Maybe we need to put big sign: ""We are not going to sell or buy house, we don't need new carpet/tile/paint/garage doors/security system...etc".



I know, I know, it wouldn't help. We have BIG RED sign on our office door: No Solisitors. No Salespersons. Doesn't work.

Same sign on the entrance door to our apartment building...yet we keep getting harrassed by Jehovah Witnesses (sp?).

Apparently, they do not consider themselves salespersons or silisitors...



Our secretary now looks at person offering candy/water/coffee/paperclips/etc, then gets up, goes to the door - "to check" if the sign is still there...If that does not work, she asks if they can read plain English...

And recently she brought her glasses, or what's left of them after one of her horses chewed on them, and she tells those salespersons/solisitors, that this is what happened to previous "visitor"
