Why people do that?
When I see on Caller ID name, pick the phone and say: Hi Karen! - why she answers: Hi, this is Karen...
My husband often picks up the phone saying: Good Morning! Tom Leslie. And the person on the line asks: Can I talk to Tom Leslie?
Maybe they already have prepared phrase and don't listen?
