Today was beautiful day.
We slept in till 10 am, then went to do field survey...Walked through nice grassland, with lots of flowers. Saw hawk in the nest.
On the way back stopped at several local vineries. Lemon groves are flowering and smell is just fantastic. It was nice and sunny with warm wind, but not hot yet. We also stopped by straberry field and bought box of fresh picked straberries - all the way home you could smell fresh ripe straberries...mmmm...yummy!
These two weeks without the kids were somewhat relaxing, tomorrow homework will start again.

They give you a little bucket/box and tell you which section of the field to go to. You just walk there and pick the ones that "smile at you", eating them while picking is not prohibited so by the time you got your box full of strawberries you ate just as many of them
30 minutes up to an hour is way more than enough to have a good time there. And if you and your husband are not too particular or concerned about eating those strawberries right there in the field then you're up for a blast
